West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Suffers Injury in Accident, Rushed to Hospital

On Thursday, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) announced that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had sustained a significant injury in an accident. According to reports from a hospital official, the 69-year-old politician slipped and struck her head on furniture at her residence shortly after returning from an event in South Kolkata’s Ballygunge.

The severity of Banerjee’s injury was evident from the photos shared by TMC on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where she could be seen with a bleeding forehead.
