An Indian politician Lal Krishna Advani played a significant role in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), one of the major political parties in India will be conferred with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. LK Advani was born on November 8, 1927, Advani has had a long and influential political career. He is considered one of the key architects of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, a political and religious campaign advocating for the construction of a Hindu temple at the site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama in Ayodhya.
“I am very happy to share that Shri LK Advani Ji will be conferred the Bharat Ratna. I also spoke to him and congratulated him on being conferred this honor,” PM Narendra Modi wrote on X.
During the announcement of the honor bestowed upon the veteran, Prime Minister Modi expressed heartfelt sentiments, highlighting LK Advani’s monumental role in India’s development. Describing him as one of the most esteemed statesmen in the country, Modi praised Advani’s significant contributions. The Prime Minister acknowledged Advani’s journey, beginning from grassroots work to serving as the Deputy Prime Minister, and commended his distinguished tenures as the Home Minister and I&B Minister.
