Former President Donald Trump, accompanied by his wife Melania, flew to Florida to celebrate their youngest son Barron’s high school graduation at Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach. The 18-year-old marked his milestone alongside his Class of 2024 peers, bidding farewell to the prestigious private school.
At the ceremony, Donald Trump wore a dark suit, white shirt, and blue tie, while Melania was dressed in a blue jacket and straw hat. They were joined in the audience by Melania’s father, Viktor Knavs, and other parents of students. Trump’s arrival drew applause from attendees, and he shared his excitement earlier on his social media platform, Truth Social, praising Barron as an “excellent learner and nice child.”
Trump’s attendance at the ceremony was permitted under New York criminal law amidst ongoing legal challenges, including a trial involving allegations from adult film star Stormy Daniels. Melania, however, has not appeared at her husband’s trial in New York, despite recent mentions of her name.
The graduation ceremony commenced with the school choir singing “America the Beautiful.” School founder William Koch, unable to attend in person, sent his congratulations to the graduates for their achievements in academics and sports.
During the ceremony, Barron Trump was called to the stage and accepted his diploma with a brief acknowledgment of the audience. While he showed no visible emotion or gestures towards his family, Donald Trump appeared visibly proud, engaging warmly with Melania and applauding the graduates enthusiastically.
After waving to spectators, the Trumps departed in their motorcade, marking a poignant family moment amid ongoing legal and public scrutiny.
