Travis Scott and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, are teaming up once again, this time for an ad promoting the upcoming release of Cactus Jack’s new sneaker line. Scott shared teasers on Thursday (May 9) for the Nike Cactus Jack 1 T-Rexx, featuring colorways in Dark Mocha and University Red.
One teaser showcases different angles of Ye’s face and tattoos as he softly sings in the background. Scott captioned the clip “YE AND THE JACK,” with Ye’s collaborator Ty Dolla $ign dropping black heart emojis in the comments.
In another clip, Scott’s children Stormi and Aire are seen playing with Ye’s youngest kids, Chicago and Psalm. Set to the soundtrack of “My Eyes” from Scott’s album UTOPIA, the video shows the kids having fun while wearing Cactus Jack apparel and the new Nike Cactus Jack 1 sneakers.
Fans can purchase the Cactus Jack 1’s on Friday (May 10) from Scott’s website. Meanwhile, West and Ty Dolla $ign are gearing up for the release of Vultures 2, although no release date has been confirmed yet.
Scott’s album UTOPIA, released in August 2023, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 496,000 album sales in its first week. He is set to embark on the European leg of the Circus Maximus Tour this summer, with shows starting on June 28 in the Netherlands and spanning across several countries including Poland, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the U.K., Czech Republic, and Italy.
