On a Saturday evening, Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles was struck by an unfortunate accident resulting in more than a dozen injuries. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, approximately 15 individuals were harmed in a tram collision within the premises.
At approximately 9 pm, emergency units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were swiftly dispatched to the theme park following reports of a crash. The incident occurred at Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.
Reports confirm that around 15 individuals sustained minor injuries due to the tram collision, prompting immediate transportation to local hospitals for medical attention, as stated by officials.
A spokesperson from Universal Studios addressed the incident in a statement to THR, acknowledging that numerous guests had sustained “multiple minor injuries.” The spokesperson emphasized their commitment to assisting the affected individuals and comprehending the circumstances surrounding the accident.

However, according to reports from the LA Times, County Sheriff Lt. Maria Aba revealed that the tram collided with a rail while descending a hill within a parking structure. Sheriff Aba mentioned concerns regarding a potential issue with the tram’s brakes but clarified that further investigation is required to determine the exact cause.
