In a devastating turn of events, at least 60 individuals have lost their lives, and over 100 have sustained injuries following flash flooding in northern Afghanistan, as confirmed by Taliban officials. The calamity unfolded as heavy rainfall lashed five districts within Baghlan province, leaving a grim aftermath of destruction and despair. Disturbing images shared on social media depict torrents of water engulfing homes in multiple villages, underscoring the severity of the situation.
