Atlanta-based artist Teddy Swims is gearing up for his highly anticipated Australian tour in July 2024, following the success of his sold-out theatre venues across the country less than a year ago.
The tour, in support of his debut album “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1),” promises to be his biggest yet in Australia. Swims, known for dropping four EPs prior to his album release, will kick off the tour with three dates in New Zealand before heading to Australia.
Accompanied by his band Freak Freely, Swims will grace major venues including Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall, and Perth’s Riverside Theatre.
The artist has gained immense popularity in Australia, with his 2023 single “Lose Control” achieving Platinum certification and dominating the airplay charts in both Australia and New Zealand.
Tickets for the “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour” will be available for purchase starting Friday, 8 March, at 1 pm local time. Pre-sale tickets can be accessed on Thursday, 7 March, at noon local time via the Frontier Touring website.
Reflecting on his debut album’s impact, Swims expressed gratitude for connecting with audiences through his music, stating, “Now I’m watching people connect with the messages and stories and realizing not only are the songs helping me, but they’re also helping them too. It feels like all that work on the back end, all that internalizing, is finally making a difference.”
