However, the game took a dramatic turn when Wright’s forceful collision with Cunningham left the latter concussed and sidelined for the remainder of the match. Wright faced backlash from the Sydney camp and is likely to face disciplinary action.
Tom Papley was instrumental for the Swans, bagging four goals alongside 24 disposals. Isaac Heeney and Errol Gulden also showcased their prowess with 32 touches two goals, and 24 disposals and two goals respectively.
