Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Drops Father’s Surname on 18th Birthday, Following Sisters’ Lead

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, has made a significant decision as she turns 18. According to documents obtained by People, Shiloh has filed to legally change her name to Shiloh Jolie, dropping her father’s surname. The paperwork was filed on May 27, her 18th birthday.

Shiloh isn’t the first of her siblings to make this change. Her younger sister Vivienne, 15, recently used the name Vivienne Jolie instead of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt in the theatre booklet for the new Broadway show “The Outsiders,” which she worked on with their mother. However, it’s unclear if Vivienne has legally dropped “Pitt” from her name.

Their eldest sister, Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, also dropped “Pitt” from her name late last year. During her Spelman College sorority induction, Zahara introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie share six children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.
