Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift’s breakup wasn’t exactly smooth sailing (let’s just say it was tumultuous 😵💫), but that hasn’t stopped his wife, radio host Vick Hope, from secretly being a devoted Swiftie.
During an episode of her radio show, “Going Home With Vick,” while chatting with Katie and Jamie, the host spilled the beans, saying, “As soon as my husband is out of sight, I indulge in some Taylor Swift. It’s my little guilty pleasure. Just a few songs to get it out of my system, and then I’m good.”
Truly shaken by this confession.
In case you missed it, Taylor and Calvin almost crossed paths at the Grammys a few months back…meaning they were both in attendance, but Taylor pretty much acted like Calvin didn’t exist.
Just as a refresher, these two dated back in 2015/2016, and when they split, People initially reported, “There was no drama. Sometimes things just don’t work out. No one cheated.”
However, things took a turn when it was revealed that Taylor wrote Calvin and Rihanna’s hit “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg—and Calvin went on a Twitter rant. Although the tweets have since been deleted, Calvin wrote, “If you’re happy in your new relationship, focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex-BF down for something to do. I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”
Bringing Katy Perry into it? Not cool. 😭
But wait, there’s more! Taylor recently chatted with Paul McCartney about her use of the pseudonym, explaining, “I wrote under the name Nils Sjöberg because those are two of the most common Swedish male names. I penned this song called ‘This Is What You Came For’ that Rihanna ended up singing. And it was kept under wraps for a while. I remembered hearing that when Prince wrote ‘Manic Monday,’ they didn’t reveal it for a couple of months.”
Well, there you have it!
