Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day made a memorable appearance at the premiere of Gosling’s latest film, “The Fall Guy,” by stepping onto the red carpet in character as Beavis and Butt-Head. Gosling, who stars alongside Emily Blunt in the film, made two appearances during the Los Angeles premiere.
While he initially sported a stylish mint green suit, he later transformed into Beavis, complete with a blonde pompadour wig and a “Death Rock” T-shirt, alongside Day as Butt-Head.
The duo’s portrayal of the iconic animated characters, known for their foolish antics and crude humor from the 1990s MTV series, gained attention when they debuted a live-action version on “Saturday Night Live” last month. Their sketch, featuring Beavis and Butt-Head in an audience during a panel discussion about artificial intelligence, garnered over 14 million views on YouTube and even caused laughter among cast members like Heidi Gardner.
At the premiere, Gosling and Day stayed in character for photos with “The Fall Guy” composer Dominic Lewis but opted not to give interviews in character. Gosling’s role in “The Fall Guy” as a stuntman sets the stage for this year’s summer movie season, with the film hitting theaters on Friday.
