Despite a resilient performance from Al Fateh after the winter break, Otavio’s decisive strike in the 72nd minute secured the crucial three points for Al Nassr.
Ronaldo broke the deadlock in the 17th minute, capitalizing on Sultan Al Ghannam’s well-placed pass to slot home with precision. Although Salem Al Najdi equalized for Al Fateh in the 29th minute, the game seemed destined for a draw until Otavio struck again, with another assist from Al Ghannam.
The outcome leaves Al Nassr trailing Al Hilal by four points, with Al Hilal scheduled to play their postponed match against Al Raed on Sunday.
Since joining the Saudi Pro League in January 2023, Ronaldo is still vying to secure his first league title in the Gulf nation.
