Rebel Wilson Reveals Sacha Baron Cohen as Hollywood Figure-Blocking Memoir

In a recent revelation, Rebel Wilson has unveiled that her former co-star Sacha Baron Cohen is the unnamed Hollywood figure attempting to impede her from writing about him in her forthcoming memoir, “Rebel Rising”.

Last week, Wilson hinted on Instagram about dedicating a chapter in her book to a problematic individual she encountered in the industry. Although she refrained from disclosing the person’s identity or the project they collaborated on, she emphasized her staunch stance against working with such individuals.

Wilson shared, “When I first came to Hollywood… I worked with a massive asshole… now I definitely have a no assholes policy.”

Scheduled for a global release on April 2nd, Wilson’s memoir promises to chronicle her unconventional journey to Hollywood success after her upbringing in Australia.

However, over the weekend, Wilson disclosed on social media that the individual in question had resorted to legal measures to obstruct her narrative. In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Wilson alleged that the actor had enlisted crisis management and legal representation to suppress details from her book.

Subsequently, Wilson identified Sacha Baron Cohen as the individual in question in another Instagram Story, asserting, “I will not be bullied or silenced… The ‘asshole’ that I am talking about… is: Sacha Baron Cohen.”

Wilson and Baron Cohen previously collaborated on the 2016 comedy “Grimsby”, where Wilson portrayed the girlfriend of Baron Cohen’s character. The film also featured Mark Strong, Penélope Cruz, and Isla Fisher, Baron Cohen’s real-life wife.

Previous reports hinted at tensions during the production of “Grimsby”, with Wilson recounting disagreements over certain scenes, including requests for nudity and unconventional comedic bits.

Wilson’s revelation sheds light on the complexities within Hollywood and the challenges faced by individuals navigating the industry’s landscape.
