Reality TV Star Garrison Brown, Son of ‘Sister Wives’ Celebrities, Found Dead in Apparent Suicide

Garrison Brown, the adult son of reality TV personalities Janelle and Kody Brown, known for their appearances on “Sister Wives,” was discovered deceased at a residence in Arizona on Tuesday. He was 25 years old. Flagstaff police stated that the circumstances suggested suicide. Upon responding to a report of the death, officers were greeted by Garrison’s younger brother, Gabe. Authorities emphasized that the matter was being investigated, with no evidence of foul play found.

“Sister Wives,” a long-running TLC reality series spanning 18 seasons, centers on Kody Brown, his four wives, and their 18 children. Kody, who shares six children and three grandchildren with Janelle, has acknowledged being estranged from some of them. Both Kody and Janelle shared the news of Garrison’s passing through nearly identical messages on their respective Instagram accounts, describing him as a bright presence deeply missed.

TLC expressed profound sadness at Garrison’s loss, offering condolences to the grieving Brown family. Garrison was lauded by his mother for his carpentry skills, evident in his restoration of a vintage camping trailer and crafting of a custom table for her.

The estrangement between Kody and his children with Janelle was a focal point in the 18th season of “Sister Wives,” where Garrison discussed attempts at reconciliation.

Police reiterated that Garrison’s death was under investigation and emphasized the absence of any indications of foul play. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are actively involved in the case.
