Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Sleepless Nights: The Headache of Their Upcoming UK Visit

Prince Harry is reportedly facing restless nights ahead of his upcoming visit to the UK next month. The Duke of Sussex is set to attend a service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games on May 8.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn revealed to The Mirror that Prince Harry is feeling uneasy about the visit as he prepares to reunite with his estranged family during his time in the UK.

Typically, Prince Harry is accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle at Invictus events. While she has been listed as a guest for the upcoming event, it remains uncertain if she will join him in the UK.

According to Quinn, Prince Harry and Meghan are grappling with the dilemma of how to navigate the visit. They are mindful of acknowledging the challenges faced by Prince Harry’s family while also demonstrating unwavering support for Meghan.

The last time Prince Harry visited the UK was to meet with his father, King Charles, after his cancer diagnosis, but Meghan remained in California with their two children. The visit was brief, lasting only 12 minutes, and Prince Harry did not visit his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Princess Kate. Now, with news of Kate’s cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry finds himself in a delicate situation.

Meghan and Harry have not returned to England together since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022.

Quinn emphasized Prince Harry’s desire to reconcile with his family members, particularly his brother and sister-in-law. However, he acknowledged the challenges of doing so while keeping Meghan’s feelings in mind.

The expert noted differing perspectives between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle on resolving the feud. While Kate doesn’t necessarily seek an apology, Meghan is more inclined towards reconciliation.

According to Quinn, Prince William views the situation as trivial and believes it should be resolved like any other sibling disagreement. Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry feel hurt by their treatment while working members of the royal family and post their departure, particularly following the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir, “Spare.”
