Popular YouTuber YourFellowArab Allegedly Kidnapped in Haiti: Community Rallies for His Safe Return

YouTube personality Addison Pierre Maalouf, widely known as YourFellowArab or Arab, has reportedly been abducted in Haiti. Maalouf, renowned for his exploration of risky locales often overlooked by conventional tourism, vanished after traveling to the violence-stricken nation. His last social media activity dates back to July of the previous year. Unverified reports suggest that Maalouf journeyed to Port-au-Prince for an interview with the notorious figure Jimmy “Barbeque” Cherizier.

According to Haiti24, Maalouf’s captors, acting on behalf of the feared gang leader “Lanmò 100 jou”, a member of the “Viv Ansanm” coalition, have demanded a staggering ransom of $600,000 for his release. Despite an initial payment of $40,000, the kidnappers insist on a significantly larger sum for his complete freedom.

Streamer Sneako recently addressed Maalouf’s abduction during a livestream, stating, “Arab has been kidnapped in Haiti. He has been missing for 15 days. YourFellowArab, a beloved YouTuber and friend… Let’s rally to free Arab and keep him in our prayers.”

Additionally, Twitch streamer Lalem took to X (formerly Twitter) on March 29 to confirm the situation, saying, “Tried keeping it private for 2 weeks, but it’s getting out everywhere now, yes Arab has been kidnapped in Haiti and we’re working on getting him out. Love ya’ll, he’ll be out soon.”

Another YouTuber, Miles Routledge, who claims to have spoken with Maalouf, revealed that he was accompanied by a local fixer named Sean Roubens Jean Sacra, who was also abducted. “Arab is being held captive in a cage on the eastern outskirts of Port-au-Prince,” Routledge disclosed.

Despite the ordeal, Maalouf remains determined to produce quality content, as Routledge explained, “Arab has expressed his resilience and plans to release a remarkable video after his release, which we hope will be soon. Sean was given the chance to leave but opted to stay by Arab’s side out of loyalty.”
