Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently seen returning to Los Angeles after their highly publicized trip to Nigeria. Amidst their return, it was reported that The Archewell Foundation, founded by the couple, is allegedly behind on paying some legal fees, though a representative has dismissed these claims.
Upon their arrival in California, Meghan was observed walking ahead of Harry. Body language expert Judi James analyzed this behavior, suggesting it might indicate Meghan’s dominant role in the situation. “Harry’s shoulders look slumped and he walks alone, wearing what looks like a mouth clamp gesture. Meghan looks much more like the one taking care of business,” James explained to The Mirror.
James noted a stark contrast in their behavior compared to their time in Nigeria, where the couple was seen walking hand in hand, closely connected. In California, however, Meghan strode ahead to get into the car while Harry lagged behind, packing his bag into the trunk, holding her phone aloft as if she were taking a call.
Meghan was dressed in a long brown jacket paired with white trousers, nude pointed flats, and carried her sunglasses and phone in her hand. A gold watch gleamed on her wrist. Harry, following behind, wore a grey button-up shirt with a black suit jacket and dark trousers.
Their trip to Nigeria received considerable criticism. Charlotte Griffiths, Mail on Sunday Editor at Large, labeled the tour a “farce” and a “fake royal tour.” Griffiths accused the couple of “cosplaying” royalty and focusing more on fashion than on meaningful engagement. She remarked, “There was one event where Meghan changed halfway through the event. She just rushed off to a side door to change.” Griffiths criticized Meghan for wearing an outfit that cost around £3000 in a country where poverty is prevalent, calling the tour a farce but noting that it provided some humorous moments, such as a clip of the couple staring straight ahead during the national anthem.
This latest sighting and the controversy surrounding their Nigeria trip highlight the ongoing public scrutiny faced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
