Mary Trump Criticizes Donald Trump’s ‘God Bless the USA Bible’ Endorsement: ‘He’s Never Prayed’

Mary Trump criticized former President Donald Trump after he urged his supporters to purchase the ‘God Bless the USA Bible’. In a video shared on Social Truth, Trump, now the 2024 GOP presidential nominee, endorsed the Bible published by Lee Greenwood, a Grammy-winning country singer-songwriter, priced at $59.99.

Trump emphasized the importance of Christianity and religion in the United States, claiming that they are currently lacking. He further stated that Americans’ rights and liberties are under attack.

Responding to Trump’s endorsement, Mary Trump, known for her frequent criticism of her uncle, remarked on X (formerly Twitter) that he has “never prayed” and suggested that if it were a genuine Bible, it would spontaneously combust.

Following Trump’s announcement, a viral video montage surfaced on social media, showing Trump giving evasive responses when asked about his favorite Bible chapters. Ex-federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski posted a video highlighting Trump’s past comments about the Bible, including his misstep in referring to “Two Corinthians” instead of Second Corinthians in a speech at Liberty University in 2016.

The video also includes a 2015 interview where Trump avoided answering questions about his favorite Bible scripture, citing it as a personal matter.

Trump’s partnership with Greenwood comes at a time when he faces financial challenges amid ongoing legal battles. A New York appeals court recently ordered him to pay $175 million within 10 days in a civil fraud case instead of the originally imposed $454 million.

Trump has already posted a $92 million bond while appealing defamation charges brought by former Elle columnist E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of sexual assault.
