Kate Middleton’s Health Battle: Speculations Arise About Her Return to Royal Duties

Kate Middleton’s recent public outings have sparked speculation about her return to royal duties. The palace has remained tight-lipped about the exact date she will resume her engagements.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate has been seen with Prince William and their family while undergoing preventative chemotherapy. Despite her absence from official duties since the Christmas Day event, she has been eager to share her cancer diagnosis through a videotaped message to reassure the public that there is no major cause for concern.

Conflicting reports suggest that Kate could return to her royal duties as early as autumn or possibly not until the new year. However, royal insiders emphasize that no official comeback date has been set.

Earlier this month, Prince William and Kate announced through a joint post that the Princess of Wales would resume her duties with a “special film.” Vanity Fair recently reported that Kate has made significant progress in her treatment and is feeling much better.

“It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better,” Vanity Fair noted. “It has, of course, been a very challenging and worrying time. Everyone has rallied around her—William, her parents, and her sister and brother.”

Kate is not rushing to return to her official duties. “There is no timeline, and there is certainly no hurry. It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the green light from her medical team. But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question,” a royal insider told Vanity Fair.

“No one wants to put any pressure on Catherine. The only thing that matters at the moment is her getting better. She has been through an ordeal this year,” a royal aide echoed to the Daily Mail.

In the meantime, the palace has removed Prince Harry’s 2016 message in which he defended his then-girlfriend, Meghan Markle. His press secretary had accused the media of turning their relationship into a sideshow.
