Kensington Palace shared the latest glimpse of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, following her recent abdominal surgery. The official photo, snapped by Prince William at Windsor, features Middleton alongside her three children: Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Prince George.
Accompanying the image was a message of gratitude from Middleton: “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.”
This marks Middleton’s first public appearance since March 4, when she was spotted for the first time post-surgery. Her absence had stirred up a storm of speculation on social media, leading to various conspiracy theories. The Royal Family had previously announced Middleton’s surgery on January 17, stating that she would resume public duties after Easter.
Before her recent appearance, Middleton was last seen in December 2023, attending a Christmas church service with Prince William and their children. The speculation surrounding Middleton’s whereabouts had grown so intense that Kensington Palace felt compelled to address the rumors directly. A royal spokesperson clarified on March 1, stating, “We always said that the Princess of Wales would be out until Easter, and we are not making any further comments… The Princess of Wales is still doing well.”
