Following months of speculation and anticipation, iQOO has officially unveiled its iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphone in India, starting at a price of ₹35,999. Boasting the formidable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, this device is set to challenge competitors such as the Nothing Phone (2) and the recently debuted OnePlus 12R, all offering similar pricing.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro price in India:
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro comes in three variants:
- ₹35,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model
- ₹37,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage model
- ₹39,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model.
The 256GB variants of the smartphone will be available on Amazon starting from February 23rd, while the 128GB variant will hit the shelves on March 21st.
For those using ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank cards, iQOO offers an instant discount of ₹2,000. Additionally, customers can avail of an extra exchange bonus of ₹4,000 upon purchasing this latest mid-range smartphone.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro specs:
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and supporting up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Notably, this smartphone can achieve a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate for select games.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, which has been featured in many flagship phones from last year, including the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 11, and the recently released OnePlus 12R. Additionally, it includes an Adreno 740 GPU for seamless gaming and graphics-heavy tasks. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is available with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
On the camera front, the phone sports a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX 920 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), alongside an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front-facing shooter.
Keeping the device running throughout the day is a substantial 5,160mAh battery, complemented by 120W PD fast charging (adapter included). Running on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, iQOO pledges to provide 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
