OnePlus unveiled its latest premium mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus 12R, during the “Smooth Beyond Belief” event held in Delhi on January 23. While the OnePlus 12 has been on the market in the country since late January, the OnePlus 12R is set to be available for order starting today.
The OnePlus 12R showcases a stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED ProXDR display, boasting LTPO4.0 technology that dynamically adjusts refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz based on the application being used.
Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with the Adreno 740 GPU, ensuring seamless performance even with graphics-intensive tasks. Offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, the OnePlus 12R delivers exceptional speed and storage capabilities.
Fueling the device is a robust 5,500mAh battery, which supports rapid charging with the 100W SUPERVOOC charger for quick power-ups.
In terms of photography, the OnePlus 12R features a versatile camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS and EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, it sports a 16MP front-facing camera.
The camera app is loaded with a plethora of features such as Interval Shooting, Nightscape, Pro Mode, Movie Mode, and many more, catering to diverse photography needs.
On the connectivity front, the OnePlus 12R offers NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS, and supports dual nano-SIM cards for enhanced flexibility.
The OnePlus 12R comes in two storage options: the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant priced at ₹39,999 and the 16GB RAM/256GB storage variant priced at ₹45,999. It is offered in two stylish color variants: Cool Blue and Iron Gray.
