Federal Agents Conduct Raids at Homes Linked to Rapper Diddy Amid Allegations

Federal agents, including officials from Homeland Security Investigations, conducted synchronized raids at two residences linked to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday.

When questioned about the surprise searches, authorities confirmed that HSI New York led the law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with support from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners. Further details were promised as they become available.

Despite requests for clarification on whether Combs was the primary target, HSI officials remained silent.

One of the properties, a mansion in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, is associated with Combs’ company, Bad Boys Film Production, though it’s not owned by the artist himself. Combs personally acquired the Miami residence in 2021.

Aerial footage from KTLA in Los Angeles depicted SWAT vehicles positioned near one of the homes, with agents in protective gear removing items and questioning individuals.

The purpose behind the raids remains uncertain, but they follow a lawsuit alleging Combs’ involvement in a “widespread and dangerous criminal sex trafficking organization.”

Combs has faced multiple civil suits accusing him of sexual misconduct, including rape and assault, which he vehemently denies. He has not faced criminal charges related to these allegations.

Attempts to reach Combs’ attorney, Benjamin Brafman, for comment were unsuccessful.

In a November 2023 lawsuit, singer Cassie Ventura, who signed with Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment at 19, accused him of sexual misconduct, harassment, sex trafficking, and rape under New York’s Adult Survivors Act.

More recently, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, involved in Combs’ latest release, filed a federal civil suit alleging sexual assault. The suit claims Combs repeatedly groped Jones and coerced him into soliciting sex workers and using illegal drugs during the album’s production.

Combs, along with others close to him named in the suit, denied the accusations in a December Instagram post, pledging to defend his reputation vigorously.
