Fareham fire: Massive Blaze Engulfs The Osborne View! Brave Firefighters Battle Inferno Through the Night

A fire erupted at The Osborne View on Hill Head Road, Fareham, Hampshire, around 02:30 GMT, prompting the response of ten fire crews overnight. Relief teams utilized aerial ladders to address lingering hotspots.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) reported “significant” damage to the premises, but confirmed the safe evacuation of all staff.

Surrounding roads were closed, and nearby residents were advised to keep doors and windows shut due to smoke concerns.

Emergency efforts included the deployment of six fire engines, an aerial ladder, and jets, with additional support from specialized vehicles such as water carriers and an environmental protection unit.

Incident commander Jim Clarke anticipated an extended emergency service presence, acknowledging the substantial impact on the community and expressing sympathy for affected individuals.

Hall & Woodhouse managing director Matt Kearsey assured that all evacuated staff were unharmed and emphasized their focus on supporting those affected. Kearsey extended gratitude to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service for their prompt and courageous response.
