Blackpink’s Lisa Joins RCA Records Family, Launches New Website

Blackpink’s Lisa, also known as Lalisa Manobal, and her newly established agency LLOUD, have officially announced a partnership with the renowned American label RCA Records. The collaboration was unveiled on Wednesday, April 10, through LLOUD’s social media channels.

Having launched her agency in February 2024, Lisa is now poised to advance her solo career with this significant development. While she remains committed to group activities with Blackpink members Jisoo, Rose, and Jennie, this partnership grants her full control over her solo music endeavors.

LLOUD’s announcement on Instagram included a brief message introducing Lisa’s new website, LaLisaOfficial.com, inviting fans to stay updated on her upcoming projects.

Expressing her enthusiasm about joining the RCA family, Lisa stated that she is “super excited” about the collaboration and believes it will propel her solo career to new heights. RCA’s chairman and CEO, Peter Edge, along with COO John Fleckenstein, praised Lisa as a “multidimensional talent” and recognized her global influence.

This partnership signifies a major milestone for Lisa as she continues to expand her presence in the music industry as both a solo artist and a member of Blackpink.

Lisa’s Journey

Blackpink, the K-pop quartet, made their debut under the South Korean entertainment powerhouse, YG Entertainment, back in 2016. Since then, Lalisa has been steadily expanding her impressive repertoire as a multifaceted performer. In addition to her group endeavors, she embarked on a solo journey, marking her independent music debut with the release of her self-titled single album, “LALISA,” in 2021.

Her solo debut made history by securing a Guinness World Record as the “first K-pop artist solo album to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.” Despite containing only two tracks, “Lalisa” and “Money,” her album propelled her to become the fastest K-pop soloist to achieve this significant milestone.

In February 2024, she unveiled her exclusive label, LLOUD, presenting it as a platform to actualize her vision in music and entertainment.

Adding to her achievements, Lalisa is set to make her mark in Hollywood with her upcoming appearance in the third season of the HBO series “The White Lotus.” Additionally, she has aligned herself with numerous brand endorsements, including the prestigious Bulgari.
