Billie Eilish, the nine-time Grammy and dual Oscar winner is set to grace Australia with her presence once again in February 2025 as part of her tour for the upcoming album “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”
Scheduled for release on May 17, the highly anticipated studio album will see Eilish take the stage for 12 electrifying performances along the east coast of Australia.
Fans can catch her at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 18, 19, 21, and 22, followed by shows at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Olympic Park on February 24, 25, 27, and 28. The tour will culminate with performances at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 4, 5, 7, and 8.
The “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour, presented by Live Nation and Frontier Touring in Australia, will kick off in North America this September before making its way to Australia and then Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Eilish, at 22, first captured the public’s attention in 2015 with her debut single “Ocean Eyes,” written and produced by her brother Finneas O’Connell, with whom she continues to collaborate closely.
However, it was the 2019 hit “Bad Guy” that propelled her career to new heights. The song, featuring a sample of the sound from a Sydney traffic light, topped charts worldwide and earned her a Grammy, solidifying her status as a groundbreaking artist.
In Australia, “Bad Guy” clinched the top spot in the Triple J Hottest 100, making Eilish the youngest solo female artist to achieve this feat at just 18 years old.
Recently, Eilish and her brother claimed the Best Original Song Academy Award for “What Was I Made For?” from the film “Barbie,” delivering a mesmerizing performance at the ceremony. This marked their second Oscar win, following their success in 2022 with “No Time to Die” from the James Bond film of the same name.
