Renowned actor Rituraj Singh, known for his roles in television hits like “Anupamaa” and films such as “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” passed away at his residence early Tuesday following a cardiac arrest, a close friend confirmed. He was 59 years old.
According to Amit Behl, Singh had recently been hospitalized for stomach issues and was discharged a few days before his passing. He succumbed to a cardiac arrest around 12:30 am at his home.
Singh leaves behind his wife and two children. With a prominent presence in television serials, films, and OTT platforms, he was a familiar face to audiences.
His television credits include memorable roles in “Banegi Apni Baat,” “Hitler Didi,” “Shapath,” “Adaalat,” and “Diya Aur Baati Hum.” Additionally, he portrayed supporting characters in Hindi cinema and featured in OTT shows like “Bandish Bandits,” “Made in Heaven,” and “Indian Police Force.”
Amit Behl received the news of Singh’s demise from actor Pallavi Joshi. Details regarding the funeral arrangements are yet to be disclosed.
