Details emerged from a statement issued by the Lawrence Police Department on Tuesday, shedding light on the events leading up to Brings Plenty’s disappearance. Allegedly involved in a domestic violence dispute at an apartment in Lawrence, the statement revealed that officers responded to distress calls from a female, but Brings Plenty had fled the scene prior to their arrival. Surveillance footage indicated his departure from the city, heading southbound on 59 Highway.
