Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film is poised to grace the big screens with a moderate booking reception. According to a report on sacnilk.com, the movie has amassed ₹93.66 lakh from its bookings for day one. Titled “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” the film is both written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. With 43,250 tickets already sold for the opening day across India, as reported by the same portal, regions like Delhi NCR and Mumbai have notably contributed to the high ticket sales.
“Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” features Shahid and Kriti in lead roles, alongside Dimple Kapadia and Dharmendra. In this Hindi language film, Shahid Kapoor portrays a robot scientist who develops emotions and eventually ties the knot with Kriti, a highly intelligent female robot. The trailer suggests a compelling narrative where Shahid’s character gradually falls in love with the robot, marking a unique twist in the storyline.

The upcoming Hindi film “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” has already sold 43,250 tickets for its opening day across India, according to reports from the same portal. Notably, regions such as Delhi NCR and Mumbai have witnessed a significant surge in ticket sales. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Dimple Kapadia, and Dharmendra, the film portrays Shahid Kapoor as a robot scientist who develops emotions and eventually marries Kriti, an intelligent female robot. The trailer hints at a captivating storyline where Shahid’s character finds himself falling in love with the robot.
CBFC Cuts and Modifications in “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya”
According to Bollywood Hungama, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” underwent recent adjustments, including an ‘audio correction’ and a reduction in a ‘sex act scene’ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Allegedly, the CBFC has trimmed the scene by 25%, censoring nine seconds of it. Initially spanning 36 seconds, the intimate scene has purportedly been shortened to 27 seconds. Additionally, it’s been reported that the term ‘daru (alcohol)’ has been substituted with ‘drink’ in the film’s latter half.
In addition to the aforementioned alterations, it’s reported that the CBFC instructed the creators to incorporate an anti-smoking static message in Hindi with larger and more legible fonts. With these adjustments, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” purportedly received a U/A certificate from the CBFC on February 2. The film’s total duration is stated as 143.15 minutes (2 hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds) according to the censor certificate.
