Britney Spears is reportedly “safe and back home” following an early Thursday incident at a Los Angeles hotel, where paramedics were called in response to a disturbance between the pop star and her boyfriend, according to two sources close to Spears.
Sources indicate that Spears sustained a foot injury during the altercation but did not receive medical attention from the summoned paramedics at the Chateau Marmont. It’s reported that she left the hotel with her own security and without her boyfriend.
Taking to Instagram later in the day, Spears disclosed that she had twisted her ankle and criticized the paramedics for allegedly showing up at her door “illegally.” Although they didn’t enter her room, she expressed feeling “completely harassed” and announced her intention to relocate to Boston.
Representatives for Spears have yet to respond to requests for comment on the incident.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department declined to confirm Spears as the subject of the 911 call at the Chateau Marmont but acknowledged that paramedics had been dispatched following reports of an adult female sustaining injuries. The call came in at 12:42 a.m., and paramedics departed at 1:17 a.m. It remains unclear whether they made contact with the injured individual or offered medical assistance.
Notably, this incident occurs in the wake of Spears finalizing her divorce from Sam Asghari, with whom she recently settled. Additionally, Spears recently reached a settlement with her father regarding her previous conservatorship.
