Deadpool and Wolverine Reunite in Explosive Second Trailer for MCU Debut

Marvel’s iconic frenemies are back in action in the latest trailer for “Deadpool and Wolverine,” the highly anticipated third installment in the Deadpool film series and the first set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This time, Deadpool and Wolverine engage in a brutal showdown set to the backdrop of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.”

“I’m on the verge of losing everything I’ve ever cared about,” Deadpool confesses to Wolverine, who responds with his trademark bluntness, “Not my damn problem.”

“Did you say the same when your world went to hell?” Deadpool fires back, prompting Wolverine to unleash his claws on Deadpool’s crotch before Deadpool retaliates with gunfire.

The trailer transitions to the two anti-heroes sharing a meal, with Deadpool quipping, “Ready to talk about your demons, or should we save it for a third act flashback?”

Ryan Reynolds returns as Deadpool alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, marking Jackman’s reprisal of the role he last portrayed in 2017’s “Logan.” The film marks Deadpool and Wolverine’s introduction into the MCU.

“Deadpool and Wolverine” arrives nearly six years after “Deadpool 2,” coinciding with the conclusion of Fox’s “X-Men” film series and Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which held the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four.

The anticipation for Deadpool’s MCU debut is palpable. The first trailer, which debuted during the Super Bowl, shattered records with 365 million views within 24 hours, surpassing “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

Directed by Shawn Levy, the film also features Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.

Produced by Kevin Feige, Reynolds, Levy, and Lauren Shuler Donner, with an extensive team of executive producers, “Deadpool and Wolverine” hits theaters on July 26.
