NCT Dream, under SM Entertainment, has maintained a youthful image since its debut in 2016. However, with the addition of their sixth and final sub-unit, NCT Wish, in 2023, the once youngest unit, 7Dream, now holds a senior position within the expansive K-pop group. Reflecting this transition towards maturity, the septet recently released their first album in eight months, titled “Dream()Scape.” This fifth mini album features six tracks, including the lead single “Smoothie.”
Accompanying the album’s release on March 25, the music video for the title track “Dream()Scape” debuted. Departing from NCT Dream’s previous vibrant and lively musical style, this new album introduces a darker, more introspective sound to their discography, marking a significant evolution for the group.
