Josh Brolin embraced the humor during his opening monologue on the March 9 episode of “Saturday Night Live,” where he candidly addressed his supposed “creepy poem” about Timothée Chalamet. The actor, known for his role in “Dune 2,” shared excerpts from a poem featured in his coffee table book titled “Dune: Exposures,” acknowledging that some may find it unsettling. However, he clarified that writing poems about his colleagues is a habit of his, not a romantic gesture. Brolin humorously revealed that he also penned a poem about Kenan Thompson, highlighting Thompson’s timeless appearance and captivating eyes.
In a quirky twist, Brolin concluded his monologue by discussing his 20-year-long practice of cold plunges, equating the challenge of hosting “Saturday Night Live” to enduring icy baths. To demonstrate, he stripped down to his socks and underwear and plunged into an ice bath, much to the audience’s amusement and applause.
Continuing the lighthearted theme, Brolin’s involvement in the first skit saw him stripping down once again, this time for a robbery sketch alongside Heidi Gardner.
