YouTuber Sagar Thakur, popularly known as Maxtern, has recently accused Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav of issuing death threats against him. Taking to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, Thakur claimed that Yadav threatened him with violence, alleging that he was outnumbered by Yadav and his associates during the incident.
Reportedly, the altercation stemmed from Thakur’s mocking of Yadav’s friendship with comedian Munawar Faruqui, which apparently didn’t sit well with the Bigg Boss OTT 2 champion. However, Yadav has yet to respond to these serious allegations.
This controversy comes on the heels of a previous legal issue involving Yadav. Last year, an FIR was lodged against him after his name surfaced in connection with a rave party where snakes and venom were purportedly discovered. Animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi also accused Yadav of supplying snake venom to such gatherings in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Yadav was temporarily detained at a checkpost in Rajasthan’s Kota regarding this matter but was later released.
Moreover, Yadav was interrogated on November 7, 2023, regarding the case. During questioning, he implicated singer Fazilpuria as the supplier of the snakes to the alleged rave party in Noida. A video of Yadav handling snakes circulated on social media, but Fazilpuria clarified that it was from a music video shoot and not related to any illegal activities.
In response to the allegations, Yadav released a video statement refuting all charges against him, claiming them to be baseless and lacking evidence. He also threatened to pursue legal action against Maneka Gandhi for defamation.
The situation remains tense as the allegations and counterclaims continue to unfold, leaving the public and fans of both parties eager for a resolution.
