Notably, the couple was accompanied by their youngest child, Rocky Thirteen Barker, born on November 1, as Kardashian could be seen pushing a stroller into the hotel lobby while her husband followed closely behind.
The power couple, who exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Italy back in 2022, welcomed their first child together last year, adding to their family of four.
Their visit to Auckland coincides with Barker’s upcoming performance at Spark Arena tonight, alongside fellow Blink-182 members Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge. However, the band recently found themselves embroiled in controversy following derogatory remarks made by Hoppus towards Christchurch during a concert in Melbourne. Hoppus’s comments, captured in a TikTok video, sparked outrage among locals, especially after the band had canceled their highly anticipated concert in the city just two weeks prior. In the video, Hoppus can be heard expressing disdain towards Christchurch and its residents, which prompted backlash from both fans and officials.
Christchurch city councilor Andrei Moore expressed disappointment over Hoppus’s remarks, particularly in light of the significant anticipation for the canceled concert. Moore highlighted the city’s resilience in the face of adversity, emphasizing that such disrespectful attitudes were unwarranted and unprecedented in their experience with concert cancellations.
